Therefore, the Green Group decided to bring together its best water experts and make their know-how available to the global community through a virtual platform. Four partners joined hands in preparing a curated selection of courses, addressing the most urgent water challenges: Singapore Water Academy, University of Ljubljana and the company Limnos from Slovenia, and the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
Today, the experts met online to identify five areas that the platform will cover in its initial phase: nature-based solutions, the impact of climate change on water resources management, desalinisation, water treatment and reuse, and groundwater. With the support of IRCAI – International Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence, the courses will be translated into English, French and Spanish, and later complemented by additional courses.
The Green Group plans the platform's launch and presentation at COP28.
